Task 1
One
thing that all of these web pages have in common is that they are all used for
self-promotion whether it be a start-up business like
HeatherLongbottomPhotography on Facebook or a company page on Twitter. There
are also other ways that you can promote your business online, this is by
putting and advert on Gumtree or Ebay. You could also use an image library such
as Shutterstock. An image library is a place to store your images online where
others can look at them and buy them if they wish.
The
way that these link together is by them all being paper based self-promotion
ideas. These are also a good idea as some people may not have access to the
internet so having a flyers, posters, business cards or postcards might be a
more practical way of expanding on the range of customers that you could be
getting. Another thing that also draws people in is having offers, everybody
loves a bargain.
Task 2
Task 3
Task 4/5
Task 6
I
believe that I have worked through this brief fast and efficiently. By
researching different types of self-promotion, both online and on paper I have
been able to create a range of different advertisements that are suited to my
age group of 15 -35 these include; A3 poster, A5 flyer, banner and an offer
card. My advertisements are colourful in
the imagery that I have used and also in the type face. They are simple in
design and uniform in the colour of the letters to the colour of the pencils.
All of my advertisements have consistency as they have the same type face,
image/images, colours and text on them.
I have created a set of advertisements that can be put onto paper and a
set of advertisements that are to be used online.
