Howard Snowden/Tim Los Unit 25 P2

Task 2
For my project I will be creating colourful images that could reflect on peoples attitudes and moods. I will be doing this through photographs of clothes, makeup and colourful objects. There will be a mixture of group and singular shots for my final images. If available, I will be using a three light set up in the studio (so that the images are high key) with wireless triggers and soft boxes. I will have a shutter speed of 1/125th and a range of apertures to create depth of field. My final portraiture shots will be shot in the studio and my product shots will be shot in various locations with controlled lighting.

Task 3
I conducted 7 shoots and then produced my final images.

Task 4
I believe that this project went well as I used the studio to the best of my ability and I created 10 portrait image and 6 product images. In my proposal I stated that I would make my images high key but due to alighting error I wasn’t able to make the portrait shots high key, although I had errors with the lights I do believe that the grey backdrop in the photographs makes the images more meaningful and this also fits in with the proposal as I said I wanted the images to portray the attitudes and moods of people. Also on three of my shoots I put the shutter speed up so that there was a band at the bottom of the photograph (this is the shutter being out of sync with the flash lights causing the camera to capture the shutter in the frame), this is also to link with peoples moods and attitudes as people can be happy and smiling on the outside but on the inside there is a different story. All of my final images including my product shots have lots of vibrant colours in them to show feelings and moods just like mood rings do.
